New Materials for 3D Printing

William Wolf, Sartomer

Abstract:The demand for robust photocurable resins continues to bloom in the 3D printing market. Materials for 3D printing need to escape the traditional brittle nature of thermosetting materials and provide a property balance akin to traditional engineering thermoplastics. Meeting these thermoplastic properties allows the 3D printing industry to move beyond prototyping into creating functional parts. In this talk we’ll discuss some of the newly developed oligomers for DLP based printing platforms showcasing improvements across multiple material requirements.
